Currently one of my favorite designers is MICHAEL DORET. I adore his strong angles and use of type as image and design. I love that he relies mainly on type without image. All this time I thought that was the wrong way to design. He also repeats his basic design again and again. Sometimes it is changed slightly, others it isn't. I am impressed by his ability to make the same sketch look different.
Another aspect that intrigues me is simplicity to make his design pop. His use of space is amazing. He creates depth by layering multiple objects, sometimes more than I feel comfortable with. He also keeps his colors basic and his design is symmetrical, sometimes vertical and horizontal. Two of his designs I love for your enjoyment.
